Electrical Panel

Sawyer Systems designs, manufactures and builds all of its own electrical panels in our UL-508 certified panel shop. Our control panels range from power unit junction boxes with terminal strips to complete primary operators panels for complete machines. We provide relay logic panels, PLC panels and PC based controls.

The picture shown on the right is a complete control system for a land based drilling rig in Oklahoma. The Closed Loop hydraulic system operates the draw works and the mud pumps. The control system is mounted in the drillers cab and on the drill floor to control the mud flow and the draw works speed and direction.

This control enclosure is a universal package that can operate a wide variety of equipment. It contains an Allen Bradley PLC with digital and analog capability and a Hagglunds Spider Controls for controlling open loop or closed loop pumps. This application was for a hard rock drilling rig in Utah. It provides complete draw works and top drive control including weight on bit and top drive torque.
This is a motor starter panel for a three (3) x 75 HP hydraulic unit. The starter panel is a relay logic base and has time delay between electric motor stating to minimize the electric load input.
This is a complete operators chair for a 3 million pound vehicle. The hydraulic system is a three (3) x 200 HP Denison Gold-Cup P14P system. The operators chair provides the signals to the PLC control system but additionally has a complete set of manual controls in case of PLC fault.
This picture shows control panels that are mounted into the clients primary control panels. They are used in a Cutter Head Dredge. We supplied pre-assembled, pre-wired panels to the primary consoles panel builder.
This is a picture of an operators console provided for a land based drilling rig. It controls the draw works, top drive, and the floor mounted winches. A center mounted touch
