Flushing Unit Isometric View

Sawyer Systems has developed a line of self-contained Flushing Units for commissioning of newly installed piping systems. The units can be provided for any horsepower, flow and pressure capability. They can be used in shipyards, drill rig assembly yards, refineries, original equipment manufacturers and any construction site where newly installed pipe needs to be commissioned.

The Flushing Units assembly all the individual components required for any commissioning standard. They Include:

  • Electric Motor or Diesel Driven Pump/motor assemblies
  • Separate small motor for filling and draining the system
  • Air Compressor w/dryer for preliminary leak checks and draining the system
  • High Pressure pump for hydro-static testing
  • Circular or Strip Chart recorders for documenting the test
  • Real Time contamination monitoring to determine and document cleanliness
  • On Board hose reels to connect to multiple circuits at the same time
  • Fluid Heaters and Air/Oil coolers to maintain flushing fluid temperatures
  • Motor Starters and Transformers with safety disconnect on electric driven models
